Nao La Niña

Cut-away of the Nao La Niña, ship of the first voyage of Christopher Columbus.

"This was my first project related to ships, a field unknown to me but, over time, it has become a recurrent theme in my projects. It was a challenge for someone who has lived far from the sea all his life to understand how a ship works, even a relatively simple one like this"

The whole ship was modeled in Zbrush prior to the cuts to show the inner decks.

The descks was populated with props of different kinds before setting the render with no color.

The color and textures was then worked in Photoshop.
